ANERA has maintained an office with four local, full-time staff in Amman, Jordan since 2004. Jordan has historically been a safe haven in a highly troubled region, receiving waves of Palestinian refugees since 1948 and now struggling to accommodate displaced Iraqis.
ANERA works with persons of all nationalities in need in Jordan and we are committed to expanding the scope and scale of our activities in the coming years. We continually build for growth in all areas, including community development, local capacity building, emergency water and sewage programs and women's programs.
ANERA maintains excellent relations with a wide range of Jordanian NGOs who will be joining ANERA as new program initiatives develop and funding sources are identified and approved.
