Some Highlights from 2009

Supplied 25,000 children at 186 preschools in Gaza with nutrient-fortified milk and biscuits

Awarded $60 million 5-year grant from USAID to repair infrastructure and access to water and sewage services in the West Bank

Installed 2 playgrounds and playing fields in Lebanon, at the Nahr El Bared Refugee Camp, in the north and the small community of Burghliyeh in the south.

Helped integrate 820 Iraqi refugee and Jordanian children, living in three poor communities, into Jordanian public schools.
