Some Highlights

• Through the second phase of ANERA’s USAID Emergency Water and Sanitation program (2008-present), created nearly 134,000 days of employment, renovated or constructed 270 classrooms, built three new schools, renovated six hospitals, etc.

• Delivered 47 shipments of donated health care supplies, school materials and hygiene kits throughout the West Bank, Gaza, Lebanon and Jordan.

• Connected more than 400 families in Gaza to water networks, laying miles of PCV piping available inside of Gaza.

• Began a multi-year Early Childhood Development initiative, developing curricula, training teachers and upgrading infrastructure.

• Distributed more than 6,000 trees in Lebanon, helping farmers raise their level of income through cultivating high-value crops.

• In Qusour and Zarqa, Jordan, completed one-year program of academic support for more than 600 students, many of whom were Iraqi refugees.
