With climate change a priority the world over, ANERA takes great pride in promoting sustainable and ecologically friendly programs in the West Bank, Gaza and Lebanon.
ANERA embraces a wide array of green initiatives, from using recycled housing materials and plastic farm waste to promoting rainwater collection and planting trees in urban areas. In the West Bank we are reusing waste water for irrigation and in Gaza we explore efficient composting methods for home gardens.
In all the projects ANERA undertakes, we always try to ensure that they are environment-friendly, energy efficient and beneficial to the communities where we work.. Our community of generous supporters are assured that ANERA is ever-protective of the environments where we work.
