Good health is a critical foundation for any society. People around the world are empowering Palestinian communities to build that foundation by supporting ANERA’s health education programs.
Together with people just like you, we’re training health care professionals in their communities and by remote hookups to leading US medical schools. We’re teaching healthy habits to children and administering programs that help parents identify symptoms and treatment options for various diseases.
We’re teaching people the importance of rational use of medicine in Lebanon’s Palestinian refugee camps and screening thousands of children for intestinal parasites in Gaza.
Together, we’re building healthy communities through public health education initiatives like summer camps where children can play and also learn proper hygiene and healthy eating habits.
