When ANERA opened its office in Gaza in 1985 with just three staff members, projects there were focused largely on agriculture, a major source of livelihood in the region.
Today, with 16 staff, ANERA's work in Gaza has expanded to include engineers, nutritionists and development professionals who implement projects that create jobs and bring some relief to those who are suffering.
