Anera’s Water Trucking Program Saves Lives in Gaza

Posted in:

Anera’s water trucking program is dedicated to delivering potable water to families in need across Palestine. Since March 9, 2025, this program has provided well over 115,000 gallons of potable water to over 105,000 displaced persons and families, tackling the water crisis head-on.

The recent war has exacerbated the pre-existing water crisis, as vital infrastructure to ensure clean, drinkable water has been destroyed, and residents suffer from sewage pollution.

Residents don’t only need clean water to drink; they need it for hygiene and sanitation as well. By supplying gallons of potable water, Anera protects residents from water-borne diseases such as pneumonia, dysentery, skin infections, and even rare cases of polio.
