Rehabilitating Homes for 100 Vulnerable Families in Gaza

Posted in:

With funding from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, Anera is renovating substandard shelters, whether fully or partially, to to aid 100 vulnerable families in Gaza. Our goal is to address their basic shelter needs and enhance the living conditions of those in need.

Anera is actively rehabilitating family homes in the Khan Younis governorate, specifically in Abasan, Al Jadida, Al Qarara, and Al Amal. The renovations will improve the living spaces of vulnerable groups, particularly ensuring that they are adapted to the needs of persons with disabilities.

Our project supports OCHA’s goals of making life better for vulnerable families facing harsh weather and safety challenges. It also aims to meet the basic needs of vulnerable Palestinians living under occupation by offering quality services and better access to resources, following the rules that protect people’s rights under international humanitarian law.

Stay tuned for updates on our progress as we strive to make a meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable families in Gaza. Together, we can make a difference.
