Anera Launches Point-of-Care Ultrasound Program

Anera recently launched the Point-of-Care Ultrasound training program with the Minister of Public Health, Rakan Nassereddine.
Nine doctors from the emergency and intensive care departments at Rafik Hariri University Hospital, Baabda Governmental Hospital, and Sibline Governmental Hospital are undergoing training to introduce POCUS technology to patients.
POCUS technology is a qualitative tool that allows for the rapid detection of life-threatening conditions, reducing the time required for medical intervention in emergency and trauma cases, especially during times of sudden influx or high pressure.
This initiative is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Public Health, Anera, MedGlobal, and Mehad, advancing the integration of POCUS within Lebanon’s emergency care system.
