Supporting the Teachers Who Make Learning Possible

Posted in:

In times of instability and conflict, teachers can become a safe haven, creating spaces where children can learn, grow and imagine a future full of possibility.

That is why Anera’s education work in Palestine focuses not only on children, but also on the teachers and parents who support them. When teachers have the right tools, they can help children feel safe, express their emotions and build the confidence they need to learn.

Anera’s teacher trainings in the West Bank give educators practical tools for social and emotional learning, particularly for preschool and kindergarten children. The trainings also help parents better understand and respond to children’s emotional needs, easing some of the psychological burden that comes with raising children during difficult times.

Give today to support education and help teachers give children the tools to learn, grow and thrive.
