Anera President at Doha Forum
May 20, 2011 | Doha, Qatar Anera President Bill Corcoran participated in the Doha Forum at the invitation of the Qatari ambassador to the United States. The three-day conference gathered some 400 attendees, attracting former ministers, business executives, bankers, analysts and other professionals, including eight representatives from the United States.
The conference sessions reviewed political and economic developments in the Middle East in the wake of the Arab Spring uprisings across the region. At least one session also focused on development issues, which are at the heart of regional progress and innovation. Special attention was put on issues like energy and water, which are key tools for future development.
It was an invaluable experience and immensely informative, said Anera President Corcoran. And, it was useful to exchange ideas based on Aneras four decades of experience in the Middle East.
