Anera Selected as Partner in LebNet’s $10 Million YOUR TURN Campaign for Lebanon Relief
Global initiative directs urgent funding to frontline humanitarian organizations, including $1 million in support for Anera’s response
WASHINGTON (April 28, 2026) — Today marks the launch of YOUR TURN, a 10-day global fundraising campaign led by LebNet to mobilize $10 million for urgent humanitarian relief in Lebanon. Anera is honored to be selected as one of 10 nonprofit organizations participating in the initiative, with up to $1 million designated to expand its emergency response for communities affected by ongoing conflict and displacement.
Lebanon’s humanitarian crisis remains severe, particularly in the south, where continued airstrikes, shelling and widespread destruction have left many communities unsafe and difficult to reach. Hundreds of thousands of people remain displaced, while damaged homes, roads and public infrastructure continue to prevent families from returning. Access to food, clean water, healthcare and other essential services is increasingly strained, and humanitarian needs continue to rise amid ongoing instability.
Immediate assistance remains critical for displaced families and vulnerable communities. Food distributions, hot meal programs and hygiene support are helping meet urgent daily needs, while damage to water systems and growing pressure on healthcare facilities have left many people without reliable access to safe water, medicines or lifesaving care.
Through support from the YOUR TURN campaign, Anera will strengthen and expand its relief efforts across Lebanon, including restoring damaged water systems in heavily affected areas, delivering food and bottled water to hard-to-reach communities, and providing urgently needed medical supplies to hospitals and primary healthcare centers facing shortages. Anera also supports mobile health units serving families in overcrowded tent settlements and displacement sites with limited access to care.
YOUR TURN serves as a centralized digital platform connecting donors directly to trusted humanitarian organizations working in Lebanon. LebNet does not process or retain donations; all contributions are made securely through each participating organization’s own platform, ensuring transparency and timely impact.
