West Bank Farmers Recycle Wastewater to Nourish Crops

Posted in:

Meet a Palestinian farmer who is irrigating his alfalfa and trees with a valuable resource, wastewater, that was being thrown away as crops died.

But a new wastewater reuse project is recycling this precious resource and irrigating his fields. Now he can grow crops like alfalfa and millet, feed his sheep, and make more money to help boost the Palestinian economy.
