Gazan Child with a life-threatening heart condition receives urgent care in Jordan with support from Anera and JHCO

Anera, in partnership with the Jordanian Royal Medical Services and the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), evacuated a family of four children and their mother from Gaza to King Hussein Medical City for urgent treatment. Ali, the youngest, age three, suffers from a life-threatening condition that restricts blood flow, increasing the risk of a heart attack.

As a result, it was crucial to admit Ali, run preliminary tests and support his family who suffered after the passing of their father.

Ali is scheduled for surgery later this week. Anera ensured his family has temporary accommodation and clothes. We will be following closely with Ali and his family, ensuring that they receive the medical and psychological support needed to aid in their recovery.
