What’s Your Love Language? Hawazim’s is Baking.
Posted in: Visionaries

Hawazim’s love language is baking. The mother of five is based in the village of Sarta, south of Nablus in Palestine. “I knew I had a great skill, yet the idea of making my passion into a profession was so terrifying…” But, one day Hawazim learned about Anera’s Woman Can program and she enrolled. Hawazim soon discovered that she could share her love of baking by building a successful business. Now, Hawazim is not only the breadwinner for her family but the bread provider for her community!
Because of the Anera community’s support, Hawazim is one of 346 women who have taken part in Women Can. These women are now able to turn their love and passion into real resources for their communities, all while earning an income for their families.
Your monthly support provides people like Hawazim across Palestine, Lebanon and Jordan with the resources they need to express their love for their communities. And, you’ll make TWICE the impact for your first SIX MONTHS of giving.
Today is a day to celebrate all types of love — platonic, familial and romantic — why not make a lasting impact in honor of a loved one in your life? Become a monthly donor in a loved one’s honor and DOUBLE your monthly gift through August.

With love from everyone at Anera.
