How Anera’s Women Can Project Is Helping Women in Gaza Feed Families and Rebuild Lives

In Gaza, where families face displacement, hunger and rising costs, Anera’s Women Can Project is providing both food assistance and income opportunities.

What began during the height of the war and famine as a small effort with seven women has grown to support 62 women. Together, they prepare and distribute daily meals to families in need while earning an income to support their households. The project focuses on two priorities: providing meals to displaced families, and creating job opportunities for women.

Meals are prepared daily and delivered to shelters and communities facing the greatest need, especially during Ramadan.
