Meet Zainab. She’s the only certified female lifeguard among 260,000 people in Aqaba Jordan. Zainab is breaking barriers and proving that women can succeed in every profession when given the right opportunities and support. Through Anera’s HIRE Project, youth are equipped with industry-relevant technical and employability skills and connected with real employment opportunities. By working with employers and vocational training providers, the project delivers market-driven training, hands-on experience, and job placement support, helping young women and men build sustainable careers and meet the needs of Jordan’s workforce.
