Raghad’s Recipe for Success: Growing a Cookie Business in Jordan
Posted in: Video
Raghad Bawa’neh turned her love of baking into a home-based cookie business in Balqa’a, Jordan. After taking a specialized baking course, she gained the confidence to produce and sell homemade cookies, building her business one order at a time.
Through Anera’s Women Can project, Raghad is receiving business training and tailored support to help her expand production. With a professional oven, she hopes to introduce new products, supply cookies to cafés, universities and coffee shops and build a brand of her own.
The Women Can project supports women entrepreneurs with the skills, resources and mentorship needed to grow sustainable businesses and strengthen their financial independence.
