Gaza Children Receive TOMS Boots

Posted in: ,

Winter in Gaza is brutal, especially in poor rural communities where many children lack proper footwear. Five-year-old Ali Shaquora walked 30 minutes to school each day—wearing an old pair of sandals.

Anera delivered TOMS shoes to his school in Gaza, and now Ali and his classmates have new, durable faux-fur lined boots to protect their feet.

This is the fourth distribution of TOMS that Anera has delivered to Gaza children. Since 2013, Anera has also distributed TOMS shoes and boots in Lebanon refugee camps.

Watch as 5-year-old Ali & his classmates get new winter boots!
