Students everywhere deserve schools that are safe, clean and uncrowded. They should spend their days feeling inspired to learn and grow. So often, though, schools in the Middle East have too few classrooms or no drinkable water or unclean, crumbling bathrooms.
For decades, ANERA has been improving schools, universities and vocational centers in the West Bank, Gaza and Lebanon. We build new structures and add classrooms onto existing ones and install new sanitation systems that make bathrooms cleaner and more kid-friendly.

In this West Bank village, ANERA has delivered health, education and infrastructure projects since 2006, making life a bit easier for its residents.
