Lebanon Situation Report

September 16, 2021

After 13 months of political deadlock, Lebanon formed a new government. Meanwhile, a recent UN policy brief reports that the multidimensional poverty rate in Lebanon has reached 82%. Some 54% of households now lack electricity entirely, while 52% of households in Lebanon are unable to obtain medicines. Almost 20% of the population are now fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
