Gaza Greenhouse Repair

Posted in: , ,

For many farmers in Gaza, their dreams rest on the crops they grow inside their greenhouses. The economic situation for Gaza farmers is extremely challenging — a day-to-day struggle to earn enough to provide for their families.

Anera works with local farmers in Gaza to improve farming methods, construct greenhouses and repair them when needed.

After a major storm hit Gaza in March, Anera did a damage assessment of greenhouses and worked fast to repair their protective coverings so farmers could keep growing their crops. This film shows you what they look like four months later.
