Anera Humanitarian Aid and Development in Lebanon – Activity Log
This log offers a real-time day-by-day record of Anera’s humanitarian work in Lebanon. It captures the daily efforts of Anera’s staff as they deliver vital projects and programs to communities across the country. Updates come directly from staff through text messages and chats, providing an unfiltered look at the meaningful work happening on the ground. In some cases, additional activities may be added retroactively to daily entries as we receive further program reporting. On some days, there may be no activities to report. The log highlights the dedication, agility and local leadership behind Anera’s impact in Lebanon.

June 30, 2025
Anera, in partnership with NAOS Middle East, launched a new project under our SAWA Program. This new partnership will empower 35 girls, vulnerable to early marriage in North Lebanon, through education and skills training.

Graduates from Anera’s solar course helped install solar systems at two educational facilities in Mechmech, Akkar.




Anera’s Nahno volunteers in Saida led a climate education session and planted 50 baby trees at a public school.


A new waiter training program by Anera was launched in Zgharta, North Lebanon.

Anera announced its sponsorship of the upcoming Robogeex AI Challenge, featuring a team of former Anera students.

In Yohmor, Anera youth volunteers installed solar-powered streetlights as part of our ongoing recovery efforts.


Nahno volunteers collected 667 kg of waste during a beach cleanup under the “Greener Lebanon” initiative.

At Matbakh Zainab, Anera cash-for-work youth produced and distributed 162 hot meals.

The Sanabel Restaurant team, an Anera local partner, celebrated the birthday of Mahmoud Al Haj, a young man with autism participating in Anera’s cash-for-work program there.

Anera’s Nahno Volunteers carried out an environmental cleanup campaign in North Lebanon.

Youth from the Anera’s construction course led a cleanup campaign in Saida, South Lebanon.


Anera held a focus group with farmers in Beddawi Camp to discuss agricultural marketing challenges and solutions.

New training opportunities for teaching graduates began in the Bekaa.
Across the South and Bekaa, Anera continued rehabilitating 18 schools and providing workforce training for 314 youth.

In Dahieh and Mansourieh, Anera cash-for-work youth at the Master Chef kitchen prepared 2,000 hot meals.


Anera’s partner, the Safadi Foundation, is preparing to launch a car painting and maintenance course using VR simulation. Anera’s Board Chair is seen here testing the new technology.

New waiter and nursing trainings held by Anera began in Akkar and Halba, North Lebanon.
June 16, 2025
Today is day 24 of hot meal production under Anera’s Lebanon recovery program in partnership with WPA. Youth in the South reached the milestone of distributing 9,120 hot meals.


Students worked alongside Chef Sleimen to prepare meals delivered to elderly homes, orphanages, and municipalities in Dahieh and Mansourieh.
Youth also collaborated with Fabric Aid to produce 2,000 winterization kits for families in need.


In North Lebanon and Akkar, youth produced 42 sofas and 209 closets to support families impacted by the war in the South, Bekaa, and Beirut.


A receptionist training course was launched in Akkar.

A new marketing and sales training course was launched in Akkar.

Anera launched a hotel services training program in Ehden, North Lebanon, and introduced the Sawa Project to help girls stay in school and continue their education.
June 11, 2025
The North team distributed 25 stoves to vulnerable families in Al Dinnieh, in collaboration with the Union of Municipalities of Dinnieh. The stoves were manufactured by youth from the Bekaa region under the Recovery PD project.

Anera launched an assistant chef course in Ehden and welcomed Anera’s board to the Bekaa for a site visit.

Anera distributed food parcels and hygiene kits in Bint Jbeil, South Lebanon.
In Ehden, North Lebanon, Anera launched a hospitality course, providing new employment pathways for local youth.
Over 600 young men and women enrolled in Anera’s sewing courses began producing summer clothing kits for families affected by the war.

In Akkar, Anera-supported youth entrepreneurs Saja and Rouayda expanded their micro-business, Chocolala, selling 53 kg of handcrafted chocolate in just two weeks and hiring a new staff member to meet growing demand.

Anera cash-for-work youth in the South produced over 6,000 hot meals for vulnerable communities recovering from the recent war.


Students also prepared a special Arafat Day iftar meal at CSF.




In Ainata, Aitaroun, Maroun, and Bint Jbeil, orientation sessions were held with war-affected youth to support food assistance and construction efforts.

June 4, 2025
Anera youth sewed and distributed Eid outfits to children in collective shelters in Nabatieh, Tyre, and Bint Jbeil, helping families celebrate the holiday with dignity for the first time since October 2023.

In Kharayeb Municipality, Anera engaged with residents to promote the rooftop gardens initiative.

In the Bekaa, Anera announced a new robotics course.
Meanwhile, over 80 youth supported the hospitality sector in Baalbek, helping post-war recovery efforts.

In Chtoura, Bekaa, a new media production course was launched, expanding vocational training opportunities for youth.
Additionally, 200 couches produced by Anera students were distributed to families impacted by the war.
June 2, 2025
Anera delivered essential medications to families across Lebanon who are struggling to choose between healthcare and basic survival. These critical medicines help manage chronic illnesses and treat infections, easing the financial burden on vulnerable households.
