Supporting International Workers’ Day

Posted in:

Since the late 19th century International Workers’ Day, or May Day, is celebrated annually on May 1 to honor the working classes and the labor movement. It is widely observed in many nations around the world, including as a public holiday in Jordan, Lebanon and Palestine, to commemorate the continued efforts of workers to secure the rights and dignity of labor. The U.S. observes Labor Day on the first Monday in September.
