Planting Trees in Lebanon

In the Khirbet Rouha area of the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon, Anera coordinated volunteers to fan out and plant 1,500 trees that were generously donated by the Association for Forest, Development & Conservation.

Members of the municipality and local police showed up as well as the village sheikh some residents, and 11 volunteers from Anera’s community-based solid waste management project.
