July 7, 2026
Representatives from Sida and UNICEF conducted a joint visit to the Social Development Center in Qobbeh, Tripoli, to observe ongoing activities. The delegation attended an Anera orientation session for girls referred through gender-based violence case management, introducing available education and vocational training opportunities. The visit was followed by a meeting to discuss observations, lessons learned and opportunities for future collaboration to better support vulnerable youth.

Anera’s cash assistance program is helping farmers affected by the war and host communities gradually recover and rebuild their livelihoods. The support helps farmers meet urgent needs while strengthening their ability to resume and sustain local production.
July 2, 2026
Anera launched the Bekaa Agriculture Project with rooftop gardening training and greenhouse installation activities. The project aims to support farmers, strengthen local agricultural skills and improve household and community food production.


Anera also held strategic meetings with key private sector associations in Lebanon to explore employment opportunities, internships and long-term collaboration in support of livelihood and workforce development programming. Meetings included representatives from the restaurant, café, pastry and hotel sectors, with the goal of creating stronger pathways to meaningful employment.
Under the Peacebuilding Fund project, implemented in partnership with the Directorate General of Vocational and Technical Education in Tripoli, Anera conducted orientation sessions across four TVET schools. Around 200 applicants attended and learned about competency-based training, cash-for-work and employment opportunities.

Anera also concluded a two-day donor visit with KfW and UNICEF across several project locations. The delegation met youth participating in emergency response work-based learning activities, as well as the Syria Track training program, which equips Syrian youth living in Lebanon with practical skills to support future livelihoods and reintegration in Syria.

Anera’s product donations team delivered 65 high-quality prosthetic pieces to specialized centers supporting persons with disabilities and mobility challenges across Lebanon. The prosthetics were donated by Penta Prosthetics and shipped with support from Airlink.
As part of Anera’s emergency response, Adolescent Kit Life Skills sessions were conducted across five shelters, reaching around 400 adolescents ages 13 to 18. Following 10 sessions focused on life skills, teamwork and community engagement, participants led two community initiatives with support from the Nahno Volunteers team.


Youth cleaned roads around Dar Al Aytam leading to Barbir Square in Beirut and planted 65 flowers and green plants at Chafic Soueid School in Ain El Remmaneh, helping create a cleaner and more welcoming environment.
