This log provides a daily snapshot of Anera’s humanitarian work in Lebanon. While it offers a glimpse into the efforts of our staff as they deliver vital programs across the country, it does not capture everything happening on the ground. Updates are drawn from text messages and chats sent by team members in real time, giving an unfiltered look at the work underway. We had an amazing session with Issam Hachwi’s pastry class on fire safety, “Stay Calm, Act Smart.” The students were very engaged and actively participated, learning how to respond safely in case of a fire. The session was both fun and educational, with lots of energy throughout the class.
Meet Rana! From her rooftop garden she was able to harvest more than 620 pounds (280 kilograms) of produce.
