February 28, 2025
We conducted no aid distributions today. This evening marks the beginning of Ramadan. Ramadan Kareem to all who celebrate!
February 27, 2025
Today, we distributed a total of 618,420 meals through food parcels, rice, sardines, and wheat flour bags.
In southern Gaza, we distributed 100 World Central Kitchen-supplied food parcels, providing 4,400 meals. We also distributed 750 UNICEF packs of children’s diapers, 1,500 UNICEF jerrycans for water collection, 11,900 UNICEF bars of soap benefiting 743 families, and 100 UNICEF boxes of womenÂ’s sanitary pads, benefiting 50 families.
In northern Gaza, we distributed 5,800 Emirati Red Crescent-supplied 25-kilogram bags of rice, providing 319,000 meals. We also distributed 5,200 Emirati Red Crescent boxes of sardines (24 cans per box, each weighing 150 grams), providing 41,184 meals; 2,000 World Food Program-supplied 25-kilogram bags of wheat flour, providing 110,000 meals; and 4,000 World Food Programme food parcels (20.83 kilograms per box), providing 183,304 meals.
Today was a deeply emotional day. We were in Deir Al Balah in shelters and centers for people with disabilities. The people we met are facing life with incredible strength. We shared pastries (date-filled ka’ak) — not just as food, but as a message of solidarity and warmth.
We left with deepened resolve in our work. We hope to soon expand our local pastries production, which provides income for the women we employ to bake the sweets.


In Khan Younis, our field primary healthcare center hosted wound management; urology; orthopedics; pediatrics; ear, nose and throat; and physiotherapy clinics, serving 302 patients.

Today, at our field primary healthcare center in Khan Younis we hosted general surgery, wound management, physiotherapy, dermatology, and gynecology clinics, serving 324 patients.
February 25, 2025
Today, we distributed a total of 223,962 meals through the distribution of food parcels and wheat flour. In northern Gaza, we distributed World Food Programme-supplied nutrition, including 1,598 food parcels and 799 sacks of wheat flour. We also distributed 120,000 tins of canned sardines donated by the United Arab Emirates, and 600 food parcels supplied by the World Central Kitchen. And in Rafah and Deir Al Balah, we distributed 1,500 World Central Kitchen-supplied food parcels.






In Khan Younis, our field primary healthcare center hosted wound management; ear, nose and throat; nutrition; internal medicine; noncommunicable disease; and deworming clinics.

Our healthcare team has also begun distributing multi-purpose tents, donated Humanity First UK, to many of our recipients.

February 24, 2025
Today, we distributed a total of 161,601 meals, in the form of food parcels and wheat flour. In northern Gaza, we distributed food parcels and sacks of wheat flour, both supported by World Food Programme, to 750 families. We also distributed UNICEF-supplied hygiene kits to 500 families.

In Rafah, we distributed 1,380 World Central Kitchen-supplied food parcels.
And in Khan Younis, we distributed 80 hygiene kits.
In Deir Al Balah, our field primary health care center has been operating every day except Friday, since February 17, treating a total of 585 patients at our wound management; pediatric; gynecology and obstetrics; dermatology; internal medicine and noncommunicable disease; and ear, nose and throat clinics. And in Khan Younis, we conducted wound management; pediatric; laser therapy; gynecology; general surgery; and psychiatric clinics at our field primary healthcare center, serving 182 patients.

February 23, 2025
Today, we distributed a total of 109,989 meals in the form of food parcels and wheat flour. In northern Gaza, we distributed 1,500 food parcels and 750 wheat flour sacks, both supplied by the World Food Programme. We also distributed UNICEF-supplied hygiene kits to 1,000 families.







In Khan Younis, with support from HEAL Palestine, we distributed warm clothes parcels to 450 families.
Also in Khan Younis today, we hosted wound management, orthopedic, physiotherapy, and laser therapy clinics at our field primary healthcare center, serving 110 patients.
February 22, 2025
Today, we distributed a total of 114,400 meals, in the form of food parcels. In the North, the team distributed 13-kilogram parcels of fresh produce, supported by READ Foundation, to 4,000 families.
Although large numbers of people have returned to their former homes in Gaza City and other parts of northern Gaza, our primary healthcare center in Mawasi, Khan Younis continues to receive a large number of patients. Since Thursday, we hosted 10 clinic days — including wound management; ear, nose and throat; pediatric; physiotherapy; urology; internal medicine; dermatology; deworming; and noncommunicable disease clinics — serving 593 patients.
We also hosted a UNICEF vaccination team at our clinic today to provide the polio vaccine to children.



February 20, 2025
Today, we distributed a total of 175,983 meals through the distribution of food parcels and wheat flour.
In northern Gaza, we distributed 30,000 packs of UNICEF-supplied high-energy biscuits to 600 children, as well as 25-kilogram sacks of World Food Programme-supplied wheat flour and food parcels to 900 families in North Gaza. We also distributed 2,000 Islamic Relief USA-funded tarps in North Gaza, 25-kilogram sacks of World Food Programme-supplied wheat flour to 300 families in North Gaza, and World Food Programme-supplied food parcels to 300 families in Gaza City.
In Khan Younis in southern Gaza, we distributed 250 UNICEF-supplied tarps.


February 19, 2025
Today, with support from UNICEF we distributed 200 hygiene kits in Deir Al Balah. In Gaza City, we distributed 1,700 UNICEF-supplied hygiene kits to families in eastern Gaza City and 360,000 jars of UNICEF-supplied nutrient-dense food formulated to address malnutrition to 10,000 children in western Gaza City.
Each hygiene box includes family-sized quantities of chlorine bleach, baby diapers, toilet paper, feminine sanitary pads, wipes, trash bags, laundry powder, bar soap, liquid dish soap, shampoo, paper towels, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and shaving razors.


And in Khan Younis, we distributed 500 tarpaulins, again with support from UNICEF.








February 18, 2025
Today, we distributed a total of 137,853 meals, in the form of food parcels and flour. In Beit Lahia and Beit Hanoun, we distributed 278 25-kilogram wheat flour bags, supported by World Food Programme; and another 662 wheat flour bags of the same weight in Gaza City. We provided one bag to each family, collectively supporting the preparation of 51,700 meals.
We also distributed 556 21-kilogram food parcels, also supported by World Food Programme, in North Gaza governorate, to 278 families. And another 1,324 World Food Programme food parcels of the same weight in Gaza City’s Rimal neighborhood. All told the food parcels provide 86,153 meals.
And with UNICEF‘s support, we distributed 10,000 jars of nutrient-dense food formulated to address malnutrition to 278 children.
Also with support from UNICEF, we distributed 200 hygiene kits in Deir Al Balah. In Khan Younis, we distributed 700 UNICEF-supported tarps.
In Khan Younis, our primary healthcare center operated wound management; ear, nose and throat; nutrition, internal medicine; noncommunicable disease; and deworming clinics.




February 17, 2025
Today, we distributed a total of 366,630 meals through food parcels and flour. In North Gaza governorate, we distributed 1,500 World Food Programme-supplied 25-kilogram wheat flour bags in Beit Lahia and Beit Hanoun, providing approximately 82,500 meals; and an additional 1,000 wheat flour bags of the same size in Gaza City, supporting 55,000 meals in Al Remal. We provided each family with one bag.
Also in in Beit Lahia and Beit Hanoun in North Gaza, we distributed 3,000 World Food Programme-supplied food parcels . Each parcel contained 46 pounds (21 kilograms) of food, amounting to 137,478 meals total. We provided each family with two parcels. In Gaza City, we distributed another 2,000 World Food Programme food parcels of the same size, providing 91,652 meals in Al Remal area. We also distributed 100,000 packets of UNICEF-supplied high-energy biscuits in Gaza City, providing each child with 50 packets.








We are concluding our UNICEF-funded mother and child clinics. In the last two weeks, we provided healthcare and nutrition services to 3,667 people in Khan Yunis and Deir al-Balah, including gynecological care and early childhood disease management support. We distributed more than 67,874 nutritional supplements, including 35,900 packs of high-energy biscuits, 31,533 ready-to-use complementary food jars for children aged 6 – 23 months, and 441 containers of ready-to-use therapeutic food (Plumpy’Nut). We also provided mental health and hygiene sessions, breastfeeding counseling, and psychosocial support services. And in Khan Younis, we hosted wound management, pediatric, laser therapy, and psychiatric health clinics, serving 185 patients.

February 16, 2025
We distributed a total of 109,989 meals through food parcels and flour. In North Gaza governorate, the team distributed 1,500 World Food Programme-supplied food parcels to returnee families, each weighing 20.83 kg, providing approximately 68,739 meals. to 750 families in Beit Lahia and Beit Hanoun. We also provided 750 25-kilogram wheat flour bags to people.
In Khan Younis, with support from UNICEF, distributed 1,500 jerrycans, 250 boxes of womenÂ’s sanitary pads (each box for 2 families) and 160 boxes of soap (each box for 4 families).
To address the dire state of child nutrition in North Gaza, where 90% of the population has lost their homes and nutrition has been restricted, we organized a health day to promote health awareness, conduct nutrition assessments, and provide essential nutritional and complementary supplements to children and mothers. At the event we distributed 400 UNICEF-supplied high-energy biscuit boxes (each containing 30 bags per child), 2,400 World Food Programme-supplied PlumpyÂ’Nut sachets (each child receiving 30 sachets), and 2,340 UNICEF-supplied ready-to-use supplementary food jars (nutritional supplements, with 12 jars per child). And our mother and child clinic, supported by UNICEF, distributed folic acid (vitamin B-9) supplements to 300 pregnant and lactating women, an essential micronutrient for maternal and child health.
Our Deir Al Balah, our primary healthcare center in the last five days we hosted seven health clinics and treated a total of 475 patients, with specialists providing wound management, pediatric, gynecology and obstetrics, dermatology, internal medicine noncommunicable disease, orthopedics, and ear, nose and throat care. And in Khan Younis, we hosted five health clinics today, focused on wound management, orthopedics, physiotherapy, gynecology and laser therapy, serving 162 patients.

In Khan Younis, we hosted five health clinics providing specialize care in wound management, dermatology, noncommunicable diseases, internal medicine, and deworming to a total of 422 patients.

February 13, 2025
Today, we distributed a total of 70,330 meals in Gaza, including food parcels and fresh produce. In the north, we distributed 56-pound (25.5 kilogram) food parcels, supported by World Central Kitchen, to 1,000 families. We also distributed 29-pound (13 kilogram) fresh vegetable parcels supported by our emergency funds to 500 families.


In Deir Al Balah and Khan Younis we distributed warm clothing kits to 250 families, funded by UNICEF.
February 12, 2025
Today, we distributed a total of 133,739 meals, including food parcels, flour and fresh vegetables. In the north, we distributed 1,040 food parcels supported by the World Food Programme (20.83 Kg per box, 2 boxes for each family), 55-pound (25 kilogram) flour bags supported by the World Food Programme to 520 families (25 Kg per bag, 1 bag for each family), and 29-pound (13 kilogram) fresh vegetables parcels supported by READ Foundation to 2,000 families.



And in Deir Al Balah and Khan Younis, we distributed 1,950 jerrycans (essential for families to collect water) and 1,950 bottles of water (2.9 gallon | 11 liters), as well as 7,692 bars of soap in Rafah, all with the support of UNICEF.
February 11, 2025
Today, we distributed a total of 116,759 meals, including meat and fresh produce. In the north, we distributed 3,000-pounds of frozen meat to 6,000 families, with funding by Islamic Relief USA, and 28-pound (12.9 kilogram) vegetable baskets to 4,000 families. Each parcel contains lemons, tomatoes, potatoes, cauliflower, onions, eggplant, and chili pepper.






At our primary healthcare center in Khan Younis we hosted wound management; ear, nose and throat; nutrition, internal medicine; and noncommunicable disease clinics, serving 272 patients.
February 10, 2025
Today, Anera’s team in Gaza City distributed 600 winter clothing kits, supported by IRUSA, to returnee families. These kits provided much-needed warmth and support for families facing harsh conditions.
At our Khan Younis primary healthcare center, we hosted wound management, pediatrics, laser therapy, and psychiatric clinics, serving 157 patients. Over the past several days, AneraÂ’s primary healthcare center in Deir Al Balah treated 584 patients across seven specialized clinics:
- Wound management: 130 patients (63 new, 67 follow-ups)
- Pediatrics: 62 patients
- Gynecology & Obstetrics: 55 patients
- Dermatology: 37 patients
- Internal medicine & NCD: 55 patients
- Orthopedics: 30 patients
- ENT: 75 patients
Despite all obstacles, AneraÂ’s teams remain on the ground, providing critical medical care, distributing essential aid and supporting both GazaÂ’s displaced communities and struggling farmers in the West Bank. Each day is a challenge, but the mission continues.
February 9, 2025
AneraÂ’s team worked tirelessly across Gaza, distributing a total of 154,880 meals today. This included wheat flour bags and food parcels. In the middle area, 100 hygiene kits were distributed to 50 families with support from UNICEF.
In Gaza City, 600 winter clothing kits were provided to returnee families, with support from IRUSA.
Additionally, with help from WFP, 970 wheat flour bags were distributed, each weighing 25 kg, to families in Beit Lahia, Beit Hanoun, and Gaza City. The team also distributed 1,400 WFP food parcels, each weighing 25 kg, in North Gaza. 500 RTE boxes were given to families, providing a total of approximately 154,880 meals.
At AneraÂ’s healthcare center in Khan Younis, five clinics provided care to 192 patients, covering wound management, orthopedic care, gynecology, physiotherapy and laser therapy.

A special moment took place today—our colleague Ahmad Najjar was finally able to return to Gaza City for the first time since October. After months of separation, he was able to reunite with colleagues and visited Anera’s medical distribution center. The whole team in the north welcomed him with a meal of shawarma, marking an emotional and joyful reunion.



February 8, 2025
Today, Anera distributed 123,420 meals through food parcels. In Khan Younis, the team, supported by UNICEF, delivered 1,600 jerrycans, 400 boxes of menstrual pads, and 140 boxes of soap to 800 families in need.
In Gaza City, the team distributed 1,900 hygiene kits to returnee families, also supported by UNICEF, along with 2,200 WCK food parcels, each weighing 25.5 kg. These parcels reached families in urgent need of food, helping to provide critical sustenance.
Operations resumed at AneraÂ’s healthcare center, with 376 patients receiving treatment across five clinics: wound management, dermatology, NCD care, internal medicine, and deworming.
Meanwhile, in the West Bank, farmers in Tubas continue harvesting tomatoes for shipment to Gaza.
February 7, 2025
AneraÂ’s Gaza team distributed a total of 56,100 meals today. In Gaza City, 600 hygiene kits were given to returnee families, with support from UNICEF. The team also distributed 1,000 WCK food parcels, each weighing 25.5 kg, to support returnee families in Gaza City.
After a full day of dedicated work, the healthcare clinic in Khan Younis is repaired and ready to reopen.






AneraÂ’s teams continued coordinating much-needed shipments of West Bank produce to Gaza. Farmers in the Jordan Valley have been struggling with plummeting prices, and by facilitating these shipments, Anera is helping both farmers in the West Bank and families in Gaza.


February 6, 2025
Today, the team distributed 33,175 meals. In the middle area, 350 hygiene kits were handed out, benefitting 175 displaced families.
In Gaza City, with the support of the Ajram Family, 500 food parcels, each weighing 23 kg, were distributed to 500 families. The team also provided 150 WCK food parcels to returnee families, each weighing 25.5 kg.
Heavy rain and strong winds have forced Anera to suspend medical services at our Khan Younis healthcare clinic as the storm has caused severe damage to the clinicÂ’s metal structure. While repairs are underway, thousands of displaced families remain exposed to the harsh weather in makeshift tents. Despite this setback, the team is determined to restore operations as soon as possible, with efforts in motion to resume services by Saturday.
February 5, 2025
AneraÂ’s Gaza team distributed a total of 50,600 meals today. In Khan Younis, with support from UNICEF, the team provided 850 gallons of water, 400 boxes of womenÂ’s pads, and 200 boxes of soap to 50 families in need. Additionally, 300 tarps were distributed across the Middle Area and Khan Younis.
In Gaza City, the team, with support from a private family foundation, distributed 1,000 food parcels, each weighing 23 kg, to 1,000 families, providing approximately 50,600 meals.
AneraÂ’s healthcare center in Deir Al Balah was busier than ever, with 355 patients receiving medical care. The five active clinics included wound management, physiotherapy, dermatology, gynecology, and general surgery.
At our Khan Younis healthcare center, the medical team provided care to 355 patients across five clinics:
- General surgery: 51 cases
- Wound management: 72 cases (21 new, 51 follow-ups)
- Physiotherapy: 9 cases
- Dermatology: 165 cases
- Gynecology: 58 cases

February 4, 2025
In northern Gaza, the team distributed 1,600 hygiene kits supported by UNICEF, 2,000 warm clothes parcels supported by IRUSA, 700 women kits supported through AneraÂ’s emergency fund, and 500 food parcels supported by Anera.
At our primary healthcare center in Deir Al Balah, we provided essential medical care through three key clinics, treating a total of 126 patients:
- Wound Management Clinic: 27 patients received treatment, including 12 new cases and 15 follow-up cases.
- Dermatology Clinic: 33 patients were treated for skin conditions exacerbated by poor sanitation and overcrowded living conditions.
- Internal Medicine & Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) Clinic: 66 patients sought treatment for chronic illnesses such as diabetes and hypertension, which remain a serious concern in the post-war recovery phase.

And in Khan Younis, our primary healthcare center hosted wound management; ear, nose and throat; nutrition; internal medicine; noncommunicable disease; and deworming clinics, serving 338 patients.
For children, the trauma of war is especially profound. To support their emotional and psychological recovery, Anera launched a six-month psychosocial support (PSS) program at Al Jinan School in Khan Younis. Funded by Read Foundation, this initiative will provide structured activities and safe spaces for 7,200 children and 240 caregivers, helping them regain a sense of normalcy through play, expression and emotional healing.




February 3, 2025
Recovery is not just about rebuilding structures—it’s about restoring lives. At our Khan Younis health center, we treated 255 patients, with the general surgery clinic seeing an influx of 86 cases. The psychiatric clinic, though serving a small number of patients, played a vital role in addressing the psychological trauma so many are experiencing. For women and children suffering from burns and war-related injuries, our treatment unit provided much-needed care.

As families continue to struggle with food shortages, our team in Beit Lahia and Shuja’iya delivered 3,000 pastry meals—a small but meaningful gesture to bring comfort to those who have endured so much.

In Rafah and Khan Younis, thanks to UNICEF funding, the team delivered 4,900 jerrycans for clean water storage, 2,500 11-liter water bottles, 1,800 boxes of womenÂ’s pads (each serving two families), 800 boxes of soap (each supporting four families), and 300 tarps to provide much-needed shelter in Khan Younis.
Meanwhile, in northern Gaza, distributions continued with 1,000 warm clothing parcels (IRUSA), 10,000 cans of infant formula (MAUSA), 560 womenÂ’s kits (WeCare), and 500 food parcels (AneraÂ’s emergency fund).
At AneraÂ’s healthcare center, six clinics operated, serving 338 patients:
- Wound management: 42 cases (17 new, 25 follow-ups)
- ENT: 93 cases
- Nutrition: 14 cases
- Internal medicine: 68 cases
- Non-communicable diseases (NCD): 116 cases
- Deworming clinic: 5 children treated


February 2, 2025
The struggle to restore healthcare access continues, particularly in Khan Younis, where we treated 165 patients today. The wound management clinic remained busy with 52 cases, while orthopedic and physiotherapy services helped those recovering from fractures and other war-related injuries.


Sanitation remains a major issue for displaced families, so we distributed an additional 6,500 jerrycans, 1,700 boxes of womenÂ’s hygiene products, and 13,000 bars of soap in Khan Younis. In North Gaza, families rebuilding their lives received another 700 tarps, while children benefited from 15,000 cans of infant formula. Through IRUSAÂ’s support, we also distributed 2,000 clothing parcels to families who lost everything.
February 1, 2025
Healthcare needs remain immense, particularly as families attempt to return to what’s left of their homes. Our Deir Al Balah health center saw 455 patients that day, with the wound management unit treating 88 people—40 of whom were new cases. Many are still recovering from injuries sustained in the war, and without proper care, the risk of complications remains high.

Skin infections and illnesses caused by overcrowding and poor living conditions are on the rise, with our dermatology clinic treating 166 cases in a single day. Chronic disease management is also a growing priority, as 126 people sought treatment for hypertension, diabetes, and other non-communicable diseases that have gone untreated due to the collapse of the healthcare system.
With so many people living in makeshift shelters or damaged homes, we distributed 5,500 jerrycans, 1,200 boxes of womenÂ’s hygiene products, and 11,000 bars of soap in Khan Younis. In North Gaza, where families are attempting to return despite the destruction, we provided 700 tarps for temporary shelter, 400 hygiene kits, and 20,000 cans of infant milk to ensure young children receive proper nourishment.
