Throughout October, Anera has been working tirelessly to meet the urgent needs of Gaza’s most vulnerable communities. Through a partnership with the World Food Program (WFP), we’ve distributed critical food supplies to ensure that families and individuals have access to nutritious meals during this challenging time.

For the month of October, Anera distributed 1,500 boxes of lipid-based nutrient supplements (LNS)—equal to 450,000 snack-sized meals—to children under five as well as pregnant and lactating women. These nutrient-rich sachets provide a convenient and essential source of nourishment for young children and mothers, helping bridge nutritional gaps amid food shortages. Additionally, 3,800 ready-to-eat meal (RTE) boxes were distributed to 3,800 families, providing approximately 135,888 meals in total, with each RTE box weighing 16 kg. These efforts have been crucial in addressing food insecurity for families across Gaza.

In parallel with food distribution, Anera has focused on community empowerment through the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) training. The fifth training session took place this month, bringing together 50 recent graduates who have worked with the Mother and Child Health project funded by UNICEF. The training was met with enthusiasm, with participants pledging to advocate for PSEA awareness within their communities, promoting safety and dignity for all.

Our healthcare teams in Gaza continue to provide vital medical services across multiple clinics. Here’s a look at the day’s activities:

• Deir Al Balah Wound Management Clinic
  On October 31, the wound management team in Deir Al Balah treated a total of 52 patients, including 19 new cases and 33 follow-up visits. Each patient received dedicated care to support their recovery, underscoring our commitment to specialized wound treatment.
• Khanyounis Health Center Clinics
  In Khanyounis, our health center offered six essential clinics on October 31, serving 411 patients:
  • Wound Management Clinic: Treated 95 patients, including 36 new cases and 59 follow-ups.
  • Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) Clinic: Provided care for 10 patients, including 7 ongoing cases and 3 suspected new cases.
  • Orthopedic Clinic: Delivered services to 121 patients in need of musculoskeletal support.
  • Pediatric Clinic: Attended to 98 children, ensuring they received necessary medical attention.
  • Physiotherapy Clinic: Assisted 8 patients with rehabilitative therapy.
  • Urology Clinic: Supported 79 individuals with specialized urological care.

Through these combined efforts in food assistance, youth training, and healthcare provision, Anera continues to support Gaza’s communities during a time of immense need. Our staff remain committed to meeting both the immediate and long-term needs of individuals and families across the region.

Today, we distributed a total of 33,900 meals, including hot meals and fresh produce. Through our community kitchen tekias, we collectively prepared and distributed 12,900 hot meals:

• Mawasi, Khan Younis | Abu Jarad tekia: 4,500 hot meals
• Mawasi, Khan Younis | Sanabel tekia: 2,400 hot meals and 1,800 loaves of flatbread
• Deir Al Balah tekia: 6,000 hot meals

We also distributed 1,050 fresh produce parcels to displaced people in Rafah, Khan Younis and Deir Al Balah, providing enough food to support 21,000 meals.

In Deir Al Balah, we distributed hygiene kits to 360 families, funded by UNICEF.

We also hosted seven health clinics today. In Khan Younis, we conducted six clinics, specialty treatment in wound management, noncommunicable diseases, dermatology, physiotherapy, gynecology and general surgery, serving 353 patients. And at our wound management clinic in Deir Al Balah City, we treated 44 patients.

The situation in Gaza is becoming increasingly severe. Today, only one of our community kitchens was operational due to the extreme shortage of supplies coming into Gaza. In Mawasi, Khan Younis, we managed to prepare 6,000 hot meals and distributed 1,800 loaves of bread. This food is very meaningful for those it reaches but these numbers fall far, far short of meeting the needs of the public as hunger and starvation deepens.

The scarcity and soaring prices of fresh produce restrict access to all but a few. Our fresh produce parcels have shrunk to only 8 kilograms (about 18 pounds) for each family, with five people in the typical family. Today, our produce distribution in the south included a mix of eggplants, cucumbers, sweet potatoes, molokhia, peppers, and oranges, collectively contributing enough food aid to prepare 18,400 meals.

In northern Gaza, the outlook is equally bleak, with supply shortages worsening each day. There were no aid distributions today.

Thanks to our donors, we are now supporting 25 temporary learning spaces in Gaza, providing some educational enrichment, psychosocial support and recreational activities and informal learning for more than 2,000 children amid the war and as classrooms have been shuttered for over a year.

We also hosted five health clinics today. At our wound management clinic in Deir Al Balah City, we treated 59 patients. And in Khan Younis, we operated four health clinics, with specialties in wound management, noncommunicable diseases, nutrition, and ear-nose-and-throat, serving 377 patients. One of the patients we served today was born in 1927. She is 97 years old.

And in Zawayda, Deir Al Balah, our mother and child clinic staff hosted a one-day training supported by UNICEF on the prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse for 20 of our clinic’s physicians, nurses, midwives, pharmacists, and nutritionists.

Through our Mawasi, Khan Younis tekia, the team served 6,000 hot meals and 1,800 flatbreads.

We also distributed 1,050 fresh produce baskets to displaced people in Rafah, Khan Younis and Deir Al Balah, providing enough food to support 21,000 meals.

In Khan Younis, the team distributed 200 hygiene kits, funded by UNICEF.

Our health team in Gaza hosted clinics in Deir Al Balah and Khan Younis. In Khan Younis, our wound management clinic served 96 patients, while our noncommunicable disease clinic saw 11 patients. In Deir Al Balah, our wound management clinic attended to 52 patients. Our pediatric care clinic saw to health needs of 104 children, while our general surgery clinic treated 43 patients.

Through our Mawasi, Khan Younis tekia, the team served 6,000 hot meals and 1,800 flatbreads.

Anera also distributed 1,050 fresh produce baskets to displaced people in Rafah, Khan Younis and Deir Al Balah, providing enough food to support 21,000 meals.

In the north of Gaza, Anera’s team distributed 325 25-kilogram bags of flour.

In Khan Younis, the team distributed 300 hygiene kits, funded by UNICEF.

Anera facilitated a one-day training on Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse for 25 employees and volunteers of the Human Development Association in Mawasi, Khan Younis. The training (hosted at a local nonprofit that provides health, educational, psychological, and relief services) primarily engaged youth participants. Initially, some participants were hesitant, but the session successfully encouraged open discussion of their concerns and ideas. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with requests for additional training on both related and unrelated topics. Participants also inquired about certificates to acknowledge their attendance.

Our health team in Gaza hosted clinics in Deir Al Balah and Khan Younis. In Khan Younis, our wound management clinic served 86 patients, while our noncommunicable disease clinic saw 11 patients. In Deir Al Balah, our wound management clinic attended to 47 patients. Our orthopedic care clinic saw to health needs of 110 people, while our physiotherapy clinic saw to the needs of 43 patients.

Violence and mass displacement of Palestinian families continues in northern Gaza, particularly in Jabalia, Beit Lahia, and Beit Hanoun, where many observers are describing the situation as ethnic cleansing. Civilians, already exhausted and with few remaining resources, are being forced by the IDF further south under relentless bombardment. In Gaza’s middle area and south, Anera staff continue to deliver aid and healthcare services to displaced people.

Deir Al Balah Wound Management Clinic:
Today, our wound management clinic in Deir Al Balah treated 43 patients. Among them, 14 were new cases, while 29 were follow-ups. The clinic continues to provide essential care to the local community.

Khan Younis Healthcare Center:
Our healthcare center in Khan Younis operated six clinics today, serving a total of 402 patients across different specialties:

• Wound Management Clinic: 85 patients (29 new cases, 56 follow-ups).
• Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) Clinic: 12 patients (6 follow-ups, 6 in good health).
• Orthopedic Clinic: 115 patients.
• Pediatric Clinic: 80 patients.
• Physiotherapy Clinic: 17 patients.
• Urological Clinic: 93 patients.

These clinics continue to provide critical healthcare services to displaced families and individuals in Gaza.

Today, we distributed a total of 38,400 meals, including hot meals and fresh produce. Through our community kitchen tekias, we collectively prepared and distributed, 17,400 hot meals:

• Mawasi, Khan Younis | Abu Jarad tekia: 4,500 hot meals
• Mawasi, Khan Younis | Sanabel tekia: 6,900 hot meals and 1,800 loaves of flatbread
• Deir Al Balah tekia: 6,000 hot meals

We also distributed 1,050 fresh produce parcels to displaced people in Rafah, Khan Younis and Deir Al Balah, providing enough food to support 21,000 meals.

And we hosted seven health clinics today. At our wound management clinic in Deir Al Balah City, we treated a total of 44 patients. And in Khan Younis, we held six clinics, with specialties in wound management, noncommunicable diseases, dermatology, physiotherapy, gynecology and general surgery, serving 370 patients.

Today, we distributed a total of 38,400 meals, including hot meals, and fresh produce. Through our community kitchen tekias, we collectively prepared and distributed, 17,400 hot meals:

• Mawasi, Khan Younis | Sanabel tekia: 6,900 hot meals and 1,800 loaves of flatbread
• Deir Al Balah tekia: 6,000 hot meals

We also distributed 1,050 fresh produce parcels to displaced people in Rafah, Khan Younis and Deir Al Balah, providing enough food to support 21,000 meals.

In Khan Younis, the team distributed 230 hygiene kits, with each kit serving two families.

We also hosted five health clinics today. At our wound management clinic in Deir Al Balah City, we treated a total of 41 patients. And in Khan Younis, we conducted four clinics, specializing in wound management, noncommunicable diseases, nutrition, and ear-nose-and-throat, serving 374 patients.

Today, we distributed a total of 42,900 meals, including hot meals and fresh produce. Through our community kitchen tekias, we collectively prepared and distributed 21,900 hot meals:

• Mawasi, Khan Younis | Abu Jarad tekia: 4,500 hot meals
• Khan Younis | Fish Fresh Restaurant tekia: 4,500 hot meals
• Mawasi, Khan Younis | Sanabel tekia: 6,900 hot meals and 1,800 loaves of flatbread
• Deir Al Balah tekia: 6,000 hot meals

We also distributed 1,050 fresh produce parcels to displaced people in Rafah, Khan Younis and Deir Al Balah, providing enough food to support 21,000 meals.

And we hosted six field health clinics today. In Khan Younis, we conducted clinics specializing in wound management, noncommunicable diseases, pediatrics, psychiatry, and general surgery, serving 291 patients. At our wound management clinic in Deir Al Balah, we treated a total of 44 patients.

The situation in Gaza continues to deteriorate rapidly, with daily reports of evacuations, destruction and attacks affecting both humanitarian efforts and the lives of civilians. Merchants are taking a 17% fee when dispensing money, further adding to the financial strain on those trying to survive.

In the south, looting has become a daily occurrence, with organized gangs targeting humanitarian convoys. Just yesterday, four major convoys from humanitarian organizations were looted. Twenty trucks were stripped of their supplies, with the IDF watching on and even advising organizations not to use escort teams for protection.

In the north, the situation is even more dire. IDPs (internally displaced persons), desperate for resources, are resorting to looting. In the past days, Israeli forces have forcibly evacuated civilians from UNRWA schools in Beit Lahia, separating men from women and children. The latter were forced to walk south, while the men were detained for investigation. Entire neighborhoods are being destroyed, leaving bodies in the streets that can’t be retrieved and people still trapped in the rubble.

The violence is also impacting critical medical facilities. The Indonesian Hospital and its surrounding area in Beit Lahia were completely evacuated yesterday, and the northern areas of Beit Lahia, Beit Hanoun, and Jabalia are under evacuation orders as the IDF systematically clears out these regions.

Anera’s own distribution center on Salah Al Din Street, where we have essential supplies, is now at risk. We evacuated our guards for their safety and are seeking ways now to move them to Gaza City for distribution. With the IDF watching as trucks are looted, it is becoming increasingly difficult to ensure the safe delivery of aid.

Despite the chaos, our team in the north has been accounted for and is safe. However, the question remains: how can we continue to deliver aid under these conditions? Our amazing Gaza team is working constantly to adapt to these dangerous conditions, but the situation continues to get more precarious by the day.

Today, we distributed a total of 57,900 meals, including hot meals, and fresh produce. Through our community kitchen tekias, we collectively prepared and distributed 17,400 hot meals:

• Mawasi, Khan Younis | Abu Jarad tekia: 4,500 meals
• Mawasi, Khan Younis | Sanabel tekia: 6,900 meals and 1,800 loaves of flatbread.
• Deir Al Balah tekia/ Central Gaza tekia: 6,000 meals.

We also distributed 1,050 fresh produce parcels to displaced people in Rafah, Khan Younis and Deir Al Balah, providing enough food to support 21,000 meals.

In the north of Gaza, Anera’s teams distributed 325 food parcels (providing 60 meal servings each and 19,500 meals in total) and 325 25-kilogram bags of flour.

We also hosted six health clinics today. In Khan Younis, we served 270 patients, including our wound management, noncommunicable disease, orthopedic, physiotherapy, and gynecology specialties. Our Khan Younis clinics also hosted the polio vaccination team in our clinic today for the second dose for polio. And at our wound management clinic in Deir Al Balah, we treated 43 patients.

Today, we distributed a total of 62,400 meals, including hot meals, food parcels and fresh produce. Through our community kitchen tekias, we collectively prepared and distributed 21,900 hot meals:

• Mawasi, Khan Younis | Abu Jarad tekia: 4,500 meals
• Khan Younis | Fish Fresh Restaurant tekia: 4,500 meals.

In the north of Gaza, Anera’s teams distributed food parcels containing a total of 19,500 meals, and 325 25-kilogram bags of flour.

In Deir Al Balah, we distributed 7,200 bars of soap, funded by UNICEF, to 900 families.

We also hosted six health clinics today. At our wound management clinic in Deir Al Balah City. We treated a total of 60 patients, all of whom received the needed proper care from our clinic’s team. In Khan Younis, we held four clinics and saw a total of 468 patients (105+120+133+110), specializing in wound management, noncommunicable disease, ear-nose-and-throat, and dermatology clinics. And at our mother and child health clinic at Shams Shelter in Mawasi Qarara saw 134 patients. The clinic diagnosed two children with severe acute malnutrition, and four women and four children with moderate acute malnutrition. We also provided 10 women with breastfeeding counseling; seven women and three children with psychosocial support activities; 22 women and 10 men with awareness sessions about polio, safe disposal of solid waste, nutritional supplements and the services of the clinic.

A limited amount of aid has reached northern Gaza after two weeks of a complete blockade. Despite urgent calls for more access, only a few lorries carrying essential supplies like food, water, medical items, and shelter materials have been allowed in. The UN describes this as a “trickle,” warning that critical supplies are nearly depleted. Hospitals in Jabalia are overwhelmed and cut off amid ongoing Israeli military operations, struggling to treat the displaced population.

The Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC), a global multi-partner initiative, helps assess the severity of food insecurity using internationally recognized standards. Governments, UN agencies, NGOs, and civil society collaborate to provide evidence-based analysis for effective decision-making. In Gaza, the IPC’s latest report shows that 133,000 people are at risk of famine (Phase 5) due to ongoing conflict, displacement, and infrastructure damage. The IPC’s analytical approach informs both emergency responses and long-term policy and program planning.

Today, Anera’s Gaza team provided critical food aid, clean water, and medical services, distributing a total of 114,910 meals to families in need.

Our tekias (community kitchens) played a vital role, preparing and distributing 22,800 hot meals across several locations:

• Mawasi, Khan Younis | Abu Jarad tekia: 4,500 meals
• Khan Younis | Fish Fresh Restaurant tekia: 4,500 meals, along with 1,800 loaves of flatbread
• Mawasi, Khan Younis | Sanabel tekia: 6,900 meals
• Deir Al Balah tekia: 6,900 meals

In addition, 1,050 fresh produce baskets were delivered to displaced families in Rafah, Khan Younis, and Deir Al Balah, providing enough food to support 23,100 meals.

In northern Gaza, our teams distributed 650 WFP food parcels and 650 bags of wheat flour (25 kg each), which together provided 67,210 meal servings for families in need.

To promote hygiene and health, we also distributed 289 boxes of soap bars supplied by UNICEF to 2,601 displaced families in the Middle Area and Khan Younis.

Anera supplied 70 cubic meters of water, benefiting over 23,300 displaced people living in informal shelters in Deir Al Balah and Mawasi, Khan Younis.

Today, our medical teams worked in five clinics in Khan Younis, serving a total of 295 patients with wound management, care for non-communicable diseases, orthopedic services, pediatric care, and physiotherapy. In our wound management clinic alone, we treated 81 patients—40 were follow-up cases, while 41 were new cases receiving crucial treatment.At our wound management clinic in Deir Al Balah city, an additional 53 patients received necessary care, including 13 new cases and 40 follow-ups. Our dedicated team ensured each patient was treated with the proper medical attention required for their recovery.

• Yesterday, the UN reported that in Gaza, “at least 75,000 people have been displaced over the past 10 days, mostly within the north.”
• The same report notes that “overall food aid entering Gaza is at its lowest level in months, and commercial goods are barely trickling in.”

Today, we finalized the distribution of two Direct Relief shipments of medical aid to five local health partners in southern Gaza.

We operated six of our health clinics today. In Khan Youns, we hosted five clinics, seeing 304 patients, providing specialty care in wound management, noncommunicable diseases, dermatology, physiotherapy, and gynecology.

And at our wound management clinic in Deir Al Balah, we treated 56 patients. Also, today for the third day the polio vaccination campaign is continuing in our clinic.

And earlier this week our mother and child health clinic operated Saturday through Monday in Zawayda and Khan Younis, seeing 360 patients in all. The clinics diagnosed one woman and one child with severe acute malnutrition and 13 women and 4 children with moderate acute malnutrition. We also held breastfeeding counseling sessions for 18 women and psychosocial support activities for four women and five children. Another 90 people attended our awareness sessions about polio and personal hygiene for children.

We have produced a short film profiling the work and daily life of our program manager in Gaza, Sami Matar, during the war.

Today, we distributed 63,900 meals to hungry people in Gaza, including hot meals, food parcels and fresh produce. Through four of our community kitchen tekias, we collectively prepared and distributed 21,900 hot meals in Khan Younis and Deir Al Balah.

We also distributed 1,050 fresh produce parcels to displaced people in Rafah, Khan Younis and Deir Al Balah, providing enough food to support 21,000 meals.

In northern Gaza, our team distributed 350 food parcels donated by the United Arab Emirates, providing 60 meal servings each, or 21,000 meals in total.

Apart from food, we distributed 10,080 bars of soap to 1,260 families, funded by UNICEF.

We also hosted five health clinics today, with support from Together Rising and Project Rozana. In Khan Younis, our wound management, noncommunicable disease, nutrition, and ear-nose-and-throat clinics saw 341 patients.

In Deir Al Balah, our wound management clinic attended to 58 patients. Yesterday and today, our clinic also hosted the polio vaccination campaign. Hundreds of children sheltering in the area have been vaccinated at our clinic these past two days, along with vitamin A supplementation.

There is growing concern that this may signal a broader effort to empty the northern half of Gaza and convert it into a restricted military zone. In response to the growing needs in northern Gaza, Anera is delivering essential aid to displaced families and communities:

• 8,600 meals in Jabalia
• 1,850 meals in Al Saraya
• 550 meals in Sabra
• 600 food parcels in east Gaza City
• 340 food parcels in west Gaza City
• 561 flour, meal, and rice bags in northern Gaza
• Hygiene kits for 1,500+ families in west Gaza City with UNICEF

From the 12th through today, Anera distributed soap to 4,725 families in Dier Al Balah.

We also hosted four health clinics in Deir Al Balah and Khan Younis. In Khan Younis, our wound management clinic served 76 patients, while our pediatric clinic saw to the needs of 68 children. In Deir Al Balah, our wound management clinic attended to 51 patients. Our general surgery clinic treated 62 patients.

Anera’s Gaza staff continue to provide food and health services to communities in need. Through our community kitchens and ready-to-eat meal distribution, we delivered a total of 22,700 hot meals. In North Gaza, 800 ready-to-eat meals were provided, while in Mawasi Khan Younis, 4,500 meals were served by Abu Jarad Tekia and Sanabel Tekia prepared 6,900 meals and distributed 1,800 loaves of bread. Fish Fresh Tekia delivered 13,500 meals across three days. The Central Gaza Tekia distributed 6,000 meals and 2,700 loaves of bread.

We also distributed 1,050 vegetable baskets weighing 9 kg each across Rafah, Khan Younis, and the Middle Area, providing enough food for 126,000 meals. Additionally, 570 dried and canned food parcels were distributed in the north, funded by the UAE, and we provided baby cereal and formula to a hospital. In the Middle Area, 200 boxes of soap were given to 1,800 families, funded by UNICEF.

Healthcare Services Update

At our wound management clinic in Deir Al Balah, we treated 39 patients today, including 12 new cases. In our mother and child health clinics on October 9-10, a total of 568 patients were served, including 207 lactating women, 49 pregnant women, and 271 children. Several malnutrition cases were identified, with women and children receiving necessary treatment and counseling.

Our six clinics in Khan Younis served 317 patients today. The wound management clinic saw 104 patients, while the orthopedic clinic treated 83 individuals. The pediatric, urology, physiotherapy, and NCD clinics also provided care, ensuring continued access to vital health services despite the ongoing conflict.

Today, we delivered a total of 21,900 hot meals through our community kitchen tekias:

• Mawasi, Khan Younis, Abu Jarad tekia: 4,500 hot meals
• Mawasi, Khan Younis, Sanabel tekia: 6,900 hot meals and 1,800 loaves of flatbread
• Mawasi, Khan Younis, Fish Fresh tekia: 4,500 hot meals
• Deir Al Balah tekia: 6,000 hot meals and 2,700 loaves of flatbread

In northern Gaza, we distributed 2,000 20-kilogram dried and canned food parcels, provided by the UAE — enough food for 120,000 meals.

We also delivered a total of 1,050 fresh produce parcels today in Rafah, Khan Younis and Deir Al Balah.

Our soap distributions also continued today. We distributed 10,800 bars of soap funded by UNICEF to 1,350 families in Mawasi, Khan Younis.

Our health clinics were also operating today:

• Deir Al Balah wound management clinic treated 61 patients
• Khan Younis clinics treated 253 patients in the following specialties
  • noncommunicable disease

  • dermatology
  • gynecology
  • physiotherapy

Through our community kitchen tekias, today we prepared and served a total of 17,400 hot meals through our community kitchens (and ready-to-eat meals in the north), as follows:

• Mawasi, Khan Younis, Abu Jarad tekia: 4,500 hot meals
• Mawasi, Khan Younis, Sanabel tekia: 6,900 hot meals and 1,800 loaves of flatbread
• Deir Al Balah tekia: 6,000 hot meals and 2,700 loaves of flatbread

And in northern Gaza we distributed 6,000 ready-to-eat meals.

We also distributed a total of 1,050 parcels of fresh produce to Rafah, Khan Younis and Deir Al Balah. Each nine kilogram parcel provides enough food to prepare 60 meals (63,000 meals total).

Apart from food, in Mawasi, Khan Younis we distributed 11,520 bars of soap to 1,440 families in southern Gaza, with funding provided by UNICEF.

At our health clinics, we provided the following services today:

• Deir Al Balah City wound management clinic treated a total of 56 patients
• Khan Younis clinics served 316 patients in these specialties
  • noncommunicable diseases clinic
  • wound management clinic
  • nutrition clinic
  • ear, nose and throat clinic

Yesterday, evacuation orders were issued for the entire northern region of Gaza. People from Beit Lahia, Beit Hanoun, and Jabalia are moving toward Gaza City, seeking refuge. Many of the internally displaced persons are heading to shelters within the city. With uncertainty about what lies ahead, the situation remains tense. Over the past three weeks, Anera has been the only international NGO coordinating aid in northern Gaza, delivering food and essential supplies to affected communities, thanks in part to pallets received from the UAE.

In the south, there is a growing sense of unease as residents closely follow developments in the north. There are concerns about the possibility of a large-scale displacement, though so far, there has been no significant movement southward. The UN and other agencies are anticipating waves of IDPs in the coming days.

Meanwhile, in Khan Younis, four areas have received evacuation orders due to recent rocket launches from the area. The situation continues to evolve, with new challenges emerging daily.

The Gaza team distributed total of 26,900 hot meals through our tekias (community kitchens) and ready-to-eat meals.

• North Gaza: 6th no activity and 7th 5,000 ready-to-eat meals.
• Abu Jarad tekia: 4,500 meals on the 6th
• Sanabel tekia: 6,900 meals and 1,800 loaves of bread on 6th
• Fish fresh tekia: 4,500 meals on the 6th
• Deir Al Balah tekia: 6,000 meals and 2,700 loaves of bread on the 6th.

The team also distributed 1,020 vegetable baskets in Rafah, Khan Younis and Deir Al Balah, providing enough food for 122,400 meals.

In Mawasi, Khan Younis, Anera distributed soap from UNICEF to 1,350 families in southern Gaza.

The health team hosted health clinics in Deir Al Balah and Khan Younis on the 6th and 7th. In Khan Younis, our wound management clinic served 95 patients, while our noncommunicable disease clinic saw 53 patients.

Anera’s Gaza team delivered 23,400 hot meals through our tekias (community kitchens) in the north and south as well as 1,050 fresh produce baskets in the south, providing 126,000 meals. The team also distributed 1,500 ready-to-eat meals and 370 food parcels (22,200 meals) in the north.

In Mawasi, Khan Younis, Anera distributed soap from UNICEF to 1,350 families in southern Gaza.

Today, we operated clinics in both Deir Al Balah and Khan Younis, providing essential care to a total of 162 patients.

In Deir Al Balah, our wound management clinic treated 42 patients. Among them, 13 were new cases, and 29 were follow-ups.

In Khan Younis, we ran both NCD and wound management clinics, serving 120 patients. In the wound management clinic, 103 patients were seen, with 47 new cases and 56 follow-ups. Meanwhile, the NCD clinic handled 17 patients—14 previously diagnosed, two suspected cases, and one in good health.

Anera is also preparing to start our healthcare location in Gaza that includes 10 medical specialties.

Today, Anera distributed 44,300 meals to hungry people in Gaza. Through our community kitchen tekias, we prepared and distributed a total of 21,900 hot meals through our community kitchen:

• Mawasi, Khan Younis, Abu Jarad tekia: 4,500 hot meals
• Mawasi, Khan Younis, Sanabel tekia: 6,900 hot meals and 1,800 loaves of flatbread
• Mawasi, Khan Younis, Fish Fresh tekia: 4,500 hot meals
• Deir Al Balah tekia: 6,000 hot meals and 2,700 loaves of flatbread

And in northern Gaza, we distributed 1,400 ready-to-eat meals. We also distributed a total of 1,050 fresh produce parcels today to Rafah, Khan Younis, and Deir Al Balah, enough to prepare a total of 21,000 meals. Each parcel contained nine kilograms of food.

To support hygiene, we distributed 7,920 bars of soap to 990 families in southern Gaza today, with funding provided by UNICEF. Each family received eight soap bars.

And our field health clinics also operated today:

• At our wound management clinic in Deir Al Balah City, we treated 55 patients.
• At our noncommunicable disease and wound management clinics in Khan Younis, we served 131 patients.

In northern Gaza today, we distributed 5,000 UAE-donated parcels of canned and dry food, amounting to 300,000 meals (with 20 kilograms of food in each box, enough to provide 60 meals). In Gaza City, we provided another 8,670 similar food parcels (520,200 meals), and 25,000 ready-to-eat meals.

And Anera prepared and distributed a total of 21,900 hot meals through our community kitchen tekias today:

• Mawasi, Khan Younis, Abu Jarad tekia: 4,500 hot meals
• Mawasi, Khan Younis, Sanabel tekia: 6,900 hot meals and 1,800 loaves of flatbread
• Mawasi, Khan Younis, Fish Fresh tekia: 4,500 hot meals
• Deir Al Balah tekia: 6,000 hot meals and 2,700 loaves of flatbread

Also today, Anera distributed 6,480 bars of soap to 810 families in southern Gaza. Each family received eight bars of soap, with funding provided by UNICEF.

Our noncommunicable disease and wound management clinics in Khan Younis saw 186 patients today. At our wound management clinic in Deir Al Balah City, we treated 39 patients.

And yesterday, Anera’s mother and child health clinic in Zawayda saw 265 patients. We diagnosed four children with severe acute malnutrition, and six women and four children with moderate acute malnutrition. Thirty seven women attended our breastfeeding counseling session; and 80 people joined our health and hygiene promotion sessions on how best to minimize skin diseases and exposure to sewage and other environmental pollution despite the terrible conditions.
